Reveal: My First Coach Ring!

Daphne Baguette Band Ring

I've never owned a Coach ring before, so this is a first for me.  Because of the rounded edges, it's actually a very comfortable ring to wear.

It's surrounded by pink, purple and clear crystals.  So, so pretty!

Some of the crystals are uneven, but otherwise, it's a very pretty ring, and a great price for $78 at www.coach.com!

Venetian Masquerade Masks, Drew Barrymore Earrings, and D.L. & Company Candles!

These are my October Favorites!

Venetian Masquerade Masks - http://www.pier1.com/
D.L. and Co. Black Dahlia Candles - http://www.dlcompany.com/
Drew Barrymore Covergirl Earrings by Lara Lewis - Hollywood Glam Estate Style Earrings -http://www.laralewis.net/

I am wearing:
Stila Jewel Eye Shadow Palette
Benefit High Beam
China Glaze - Watermelon Rind
Lashes - Ardell InvisiBand Glam - Lacies Black

I had a lot of fun with this Halloween Masquerade Mask look.  Masquerade masks are really hot this year, for some reason, but they are really beautifully crafted (the best ones are made in Venice, Italy), and you can just imagine throwing a party where everyone is wearing these gorgeous masks!
Venetian Masks, Venice, Italy
I was in Venice last year, where I took this photo, and I became enthralled with their masks.  There are so many different styles and colors, to suit every taste.  Naturally, because your face is covered, it gives you an aura of mystery.  Just who is the person under that mask?
These are the earrings Drew Barrymore wore in her Cover Girl Lash Blast Ad.

I first saw these earrings in Drew Barrymore's Cover Girl Lash Blast advertisement.  I fell in love instantly, but I assumed the earrings would be too expensive for me.  Then I found them online and they were only $15!!!  That's completely within my budget, and I ordered them.  They are beautiful and simple.  Everything I wanted, and more!
Sumptuous D.L. and Company Black Dahlia Candles
If you have never heard of DL & Co. Candles before, you have been missing out.  Their candles are unlike any other!  The special blend of soy and waxes keeps them burning for hours.  Not to mention their unconventional designs.  The designs of the candles and their containers run from Gothic to Macabre!  Check them out online.  You'll be amazed.
The Black Dahlia Candles come beautifully packaged.
This is the most exquisite smelling candle - The Black Dahlia.

KIDS RIDING ON THE OUTSIDE OF CARS IN CAIRO!

We were stunned to see this!

We saw 13 women and children cramming themselves into an old car while we were on vacation in Egypt.  There were so many people in there that they forgot a little boy.  And of course, another little boy couldn't fit inside the car so he sat on the outside of the car on the trunk!

This is me, A - Z

A - Animals.  I am a complete animal lover - I don't care whether it's a rat, a cat, a crab, a dolphin or an elephant, I love them all.

B - Balenciaga. I am mesmerized by their infamous leather Nicolas Ghesquière  Motorcycle bags.  When I see those bags I am simply rendered speechless.

C - Craig.  The love of my life.  My life has never been the same since the day he walked into it, bringing with him all of the love, excitement and drama any girl could ever hope to have.

D - Durban.  I am so happy that I was born in Durban.  I love being a girl from Durbs, that sunny city by the sea.

E - Egypt.  No place that I have travelled to has ever had such a startling and shocking affect on me.  I was in awe and horrified all at the same time.  Talk about culture shock.

F - Family. This goes without saying.  Without my family I am nothing.  And this means blood family and friend family, too.

G - Gadgets.  Particularly by Apple. Because I can't live without them. Yes, that monster company, purveyors of all things innovative, useful and stylish.  I simply wouldn't be able to function in life or get through the day without all of my Apple gadgetry.

H - Halloween. My favorite holiday of all!  Dressing up and spookiness makes me feel like I am a kid again.

I - Islands.  I love island life, and my grandparents were from the island of Mauritius.  I am trying to visit as many islands as I can in the Caribbean because I feel so comfortable there, like I used to live there.  I feel free, there.  Strange.

J - Joy. Something everyone should experience in life, and something I have experienced in abundance.

K - Key West, Florida. Probably my favorite place in the world. I would live there in a heartbeat, except for the fact that they get hurricanes every year, so I won't risk living there.

L - Learn.  Everywhere we go, everything we do is a lesson.  Learn from it, always.  I never want to stop learning. I never want to give up hope.

M - Music.  I can't live without music in my life.  I know the lyrics to thousands of songs dating back from the 1930's through to today.

N - Nail Polish.  Nothing looks prettier than nicely manicured and painted fingernails.

O - Ocean. Water is my favorite element, and I love swimming and snorkeling in the ocean more than anything.  I love exploring coral reefs with colorful fish, and checking out all of the creepy crawlies that scurry along the ocean floor.

P - Photography.  Photography captures the essence of something, a time or place.  I am obsessed with photography and I only wish I had been able to take more photo's when I was young.

Q - Quirky.  Even I find myself peculiar and strange, sometimes.

R - Reading. I am obsessed with reading - the news, books, magazines, interviews, whatever.  I have an extensive library of books in my home.

S - South Africa.  The Country of my birth.  For me, it is now, a far away and distant land, another time, another place, bittersweet.

T - Travel.  My first love.  I'm a natural born explorer.  The one thing I will do until the day I die.

V - Vampires.  They are all the rage now, but I've loved Vampire tales forever.  My favorite Vampire movie is the 1979 Frank Langella flick, Dracula.  And of course, The Vampire Diaries - the now infamous TV show which inspired me to write, direct and produce my first short movie, for which I will forever be thankful.

W - Warped.  That's my sense of humor.  And I can't ever tell a joke.  I don't know why but I always forget half of it or emphasize the wrong part of the joke and it's never ever funny.

X - Xenophile. From the day I was born, I was an unabashed xenophile.

Y - Yearning.  I definitely have moments where I yearn to go back in time in my life.

Z - Zeal.   The way in which I choose to live my life.  The obsessive fervor to do something or accomplish something, anything, is always with me.
