Shubi Shoe Bags

Shubi 2-Piece Shoe Bag Set
I have used shoe bags in the past, but for my last vacation I was in dire need of some new ones.  I had been aware of Shubi shoe bags for a long time, and I felt it was the perfect time to take the plunge.

Of course, there are cheaper alternatives to be found on Ebay and Etsy.  Or, you could use a plastic grocery bag.  But using plastic is bad for the environment and in general they are never a good idea.  The dye on the grocery bags can transfer onto your clothing or other items inside your luggage.

If you want a stylish alternative, you may want to check out Shubi shoe bags.  Made in the USA from cotton, Shubi bags are machine washable.  They will keep your shoes from soiling clean clothes and protect the inside of your luggage or bag from dirt and germs on the shoes.  Each bag is lined for added protection and durability.

The bags come in various sizes suitable for men, women, children, with larger bags for high heels or gym shoes and the smaller bags like mine for individual shoes, or for a pair or two of flats.  Each bag has a drawstring at the top which can be used to hang the bags - on hooks, hangers, over your wrist, on a pram... which makes them very versatile.

They are also available in a variety of colors and are prettily packaged, which makes for a perfect gift.

I could fit two pairs of Havaianas in each Shubi bag
This 2-piece set includes shoe bags that are 15" H x 8" wide, so they will fit almost any woman's shoe and accommodate heels up to 4" high.

The bags proved to be very useful during my vacation to Bermuda, especially because I had spent considerable time on the beach and ended up with (what-else?) sand everywhere!  The Shubi's ensured that I didn't transfer any of that sand to anything within my suitcase.

Shubi shoe bags certainly aren't cheap - this set of two cost $38.  You can buy them here.
