Eco Emi Box June 2011

The world of "green", natural and organic products can be overwhelming.  I have spent money on products in the past and been underwhelmed, but I have also found products that work wonders - all without the help of harsh, toxic chemicals.

Eco Emi plans to make the discovery of quality, safe products easy.  Their monthly subscription sample program takes the guess work out of the world of "Green".
The June Eco Emi Box.
This sample program does differ from Birchbox, in that this box is more of a lifestyle box, and the sample sizes are smaller.
June Eco Emi - Cosmetic samples, soap and an organic wax candle.
I think that there is a great deal of potential to learn about some very good organic, Free Trade products through Eco Emi.
Expect the unexpected - a Stain Eraser for clothes and a Facial Mask!
Some of the products I received this month were heavily scented and overwhelming to my senses, but there were some surprises, too - like the Auromere Ayurvedic - Herbal Soaps and the Pure Light - Organic Coconut Wax Candle.
Eco Emi features a variety of organic samples.
While I enjoyed this months EE, I can't say that I felt like I got my $15 worth. But I love the concept of natural products, and so I will continue with this program.

For $15 per month, get a package of 5 - 10 samples of organic, eco-friendly or Fair Trade products.

What's in my Beach Bag?

Coach Poppy Graffiti Tote.
At the end of last summer I decided not to hold out any longer... I finally purchased this Coach Poppy Graffiti Tote.  I had my eye on it for some time, with the intention of using it for the beach and for when I go on cruises.

Today, I was able to use it - it was the perfect day for the beach - so off we went, Coach tote in tow...

And it worked out perfectly!  I don't like to carry my whole life to the beach with me, but there are a few essentials that I need and they did fit perfectly into this tote.

What's in my Beach Bag?
So, what exactly do I carry around in there?

I usually hate everything to match exactly, but I couldn't resist this Coach beach towel - a perfect way to camouflage the tote! ;-)
