March 2011 Birchbox: Upgrade

Hello ladies!

It's my first post in about two weeks - I'm slowly recovering from a nasty bout of the flu, and you can hear this in my voice in my video - sorry!  But at least I got my voice back!

I'm also behind on responding to comments on my blog and my videos, but I'll get there, I promise!

This month, I didn't get any cosmetics in my Birchbox (cosmetics are my favorite!), but I did get some interesting things, especially the Marvis Classic Mint Toothpaste which is made in Italy.  I'll try it out and let you know if I like it.

The Upgrade Birchbox includes:
Blow - Thickening Mist
Marvis - Classic Mint Toothpaste
Pangea Organics - Lip Balm
Pangea Organics - Egyptian Geranium Scrub
Pomega5 - Daily Revitalizing Conentrate
Birchbox Treat - Brow Brush

The March 2011 Birch Box.
Birchbox Theme for March 2011: Upgrade.
This Birchbox does not contain any cosmetics.
Blow Thickening Mist - it's a lightweight, volumizing spray.
An extra item was included this month - Pangea Organics Egyptian Geranium Scrub!
I'm thrilled with this Birchbox!

Acrylic Cube Makeup Storage

I decided to update my makeup storage, because I kept on losing my eyeshadows.  In particular, my MAC eyeshadows!  I don't know why.  Anyway, a speedy solution was necessary!

I found this clear cube acrylic three drawer jewelry box from Beauty Makeup Supply.  I tried it out for a few weeks, then I realized that two of these particular boxes would be the perfect solution to reign in my missing eyeshadows!  I just stacked one on top of the other.

The boxes come in several configurations, all of which can be seen in my video above.

Each drawer is completely removable.  The size of this organizer is approximately 9" wide, 4" high.

Each drawer can hold 15 regular MAC eyeshadows.

Even MAC Paint Pots fit comfortably inside the drawers.

I decided to store the beauty powders and blush in there as well.

In the second cube I stored some Stila, Bourjois and Bobbi Brown makeup.

My makeup is definitely looking more organized now.  My video about other makeup storage tips will be up next week, and I'll create a blog post for that video, too.
